Badge kit
Scanned by Answerable.
A small badge for businesses that have run our free AI visibility scan. This page covers what it means, what it does not mean, who may use it, and the code to put it on your site.
The badge means exactly one thing: the business displaying it has run the free Answerable AI visibility scan. That is the whole claim. Nothing more is implied, and nothing more should be read into it.
What it is, and what it is not
The scan asks AI assistants the questions a business's customers actually ask and shows whether that business gets named in the answers. Running it is a factual event: it either happened or it did not. The badge records that it happened. To be completely plain about the rest:
- It is not an endorsement. We have not reviewed, approved or recommended the business. We usually know nothing about it beyond what the scan itself surfaced.
- It is not a score. The badge carries no number, grade or star, and displaying it says nothing about how the scan went. A business that scored zero may display it just as honestly as one that scored well.
- It is not a certification. There is no standard to pass, no assessment behind it and no expiry date. Nobody can fail to qualify for it except by never running the scan.
If you see this badge on a site, it tells you the owner checked what AI assistants say about their business. It does not tell you what the answer was.
Who may use it
Any business that has actually run the scan. It is free to use, there is no sign-up, no fee and no permission to request. You do not need to be a client of ours, and putting the badge up creates no obligation to become one.
The one condition is the obvious one: the scan has to have actually happened. The badge is a statement of fact, and it is only honest if the fact is true. If you have not run the scan yet, run it first. It is free and no email address is needed.
The kit
Two versions, one claim
Both badges say the same thing. Pick the one that suits your background, then copy the matching snippet below. The images are served from answerable.com.au, so your badge stays current if the artwork is ever refined. Prefer to host your own assets? Download the SVG and the same rules apply.

The rules
Usage guidelines
Short list, and all of it is common sense. The badge only works, for you and for us, while everyone displaying it uses it the same honest way.
- Use the files as supplied. Do not recolour, stretch, crop or redraw them, and do not add words, numbers or stars. The artwork is the claim; edits change the claim.
- Keep it legible. Display it at 200 by 44 pixels, or scale it down proportionally. Below about 140 pixels wide the text stops being readable, so do not go smaller than that.
- Do not imply more than it says. Neither the badge nor the text around it should suggest an endorsement, a score, a ranking, a partnership or a certification. "Scanned by Answerable" is the claim. "Approved by Answerable" is not, and never will be.
- Keep it linked. Point the badge at answerable.com.au so a visitor can check what it means. The snippets above already do this.
- Remove it if we ask. We only ask when a badge is being used misleadingly, or by a business that never ran the scan. If that request ever reaches you, please act on it promptly.
